The Lord our God is One good God

A. PROPHETIC ENCOURAGEMENT I, the Lord your God, am good. My mercy expands each day and my goodness knows no end. Your understanding cannot fathom the depth of My goodness, nor will your eyes ever see its end.
When all else fails, I am good. When all else comes to nothing, I remain good. When turmoil rages and men ask why, I am good. Though darkness covers the earth, and evil rears its ugly head across the lands, I remain good.
My goodness covers the earth like the atmosphere. It is time for you to declare it, decree it and access it to its fullness. Pull it down over your heads like a garment and wrap yourself in My goodness. Stand in my goodness and I will display its fullness in your life.

A Word of EnCOURAGEment

Do Not Fear! Lean Back on My All Sufficient Power

"Confidence is an internal state that is made up of perceiving the risk, experiencing the fear, and overcoming the fear in order to take action."

I trust you are all persevering in the faith. While some of you may be sailing smoothly, many are in a season of warfare contending for a breakthrough. It is with that in mind that I wanted to send you a little word of encouragement. I have been reminded of late that it is Christ in us who fights the battle. Wigglesworth and Dr. Charles Price are both quoted as having said something close to this: "When my faith comes to an end, His is just beginning!" It is impossible to have intimacy with Christ without encounters with the powers of darkness.

Prophetic Word from Cindy Jacobs

God says, "I'm Raising Up a New Generation of Revivalists Such as the World Has Not Seen"
Prophetic Word by Cindy Jacobs given on August 23, 2007:
For the Lord would say, "I'm raising up a new generation of revivalists such as the world has not seen. I'm redigging the wells of Leonard Ravenhill," says the Lord. "I'm redigging wells today," says the Father God. And the Lord says that there is a shifting and a turning even in this season. "Even," says the Lord, "a time of new beginnings; but new beginnings for harvest," says the Lord.
Some have prayed, and many have not seen revival. They've not seen. They've only seen the promise of what they hope God would do in their cities. They've only seen a glimpse of
what could happen if a city was saved, but the Lord says, "I am coming in response to the prayers of generations." Says God,

Psalm 30 and Acts 9:1-20

Saul heard a voice from heaven. It was Jesus, whom he had been persecuting. It came suddenly, and a light from heaven flashed around him. The experience was so intense that Saul fell to the ground. The light was so strong that he was blinded. After his encounter with the light and the voice, Saul’s life was changed forever.
At his baptism in the Holy Spirit, Saul regained his sight and took his new name.
Saul who persecuted people of the way, became Paul a believer in the Way.

The making of a ministry

The disciples came to Him, saying, 'The place is desolate, and the time is already past; so send the multitudes away, that they may go into the villages and buy food for themselves.' But Jesus said to them, 'They do not need to go away; you give them something to eat!' And they said to Him, 'We have here only five loaves and two fish'" (Matthew 14:15-17). Read More...

Deepening your relationship with God

Living in deep communion with the Holy Spirit isn’t something that happens overnight. It’s actually a lot like falling in love.
Is there such a thing as love at first sight? Well, there’s instant attraction, yes. There’s instant fascination, yes. All of these emotional responses are very important because they compel you into the real thing--the true-blue, ever-deepening, unexplainable, unending love that artists throughout history have attempted to capture on paper, canvas, or musical score, but they have not been able to fully do so.
Just like falling in love with a person, falling into true love with the Spirit of God takes time, focus, and commitment. There are several different ways you can practice the presence of God and deepen your love relationship with Him. The possibilities are endless. One mindboggling, simple way is by realizing--and believing--how much He loves you (1 John 4:19).

Warriors of truth

In prayer, I was shown a vision. In it I saw misguided people who were the enemies of Truth, rallying together to deceive the saints; they were being guided by demonic forces who used them like toys. Great effort was being made by the realms of darkness to bring confusion and to stir up strife among the brethren to break up friendships that gave strength and encouragement to the saints. I saw the enemies of Truth entering the lives of those who have been wounded by rejection and held in bondage by fear. They spoke demonically induced lies with great power to deceive them in their weakened condition. Read More...

Decisions define our destiny

We have decided that:
  • teaching the gospel without demonstrating the gospel is not enough
  • good preaching, good doctrine, and being good people are not enough
  • having a good church club is not enough – having good fellowship and being a member of that club is not enough

The battle for intimacy

There are many spiritual battles we engage in throughout our Christian life, but I believe the greatest one is the battle for intimacy with the Lord. A fruitful life in the Kingdom flows out of intimacy. The character and nature of Jesus is formed in us through intimacy with Him. It is no wonder that this is the area so often assaulted with distractions, insecurities and disappointments. Read More...

A time to seek God

"When Thou didst say, 'Seek My face,' my heart said to Thee, 'Thy face, O Lord, I shall seek.'" -- Psalm 27:8
There are certain times when the Lord calls us out of the routine of our daily lives. These are special seasons where His only command is, "Seek My Face." He has something precious and vitally important to give us that the familiar pattern of our daily devotions cannot accommodate."When Thou didst say, 'Seek My face,' my heart said to Thee, 'Thy face, O Lord, I shall seek.'" -- Psalm 27:8
There are certain times when the Lord calls us out of the routine of our daily lives. These are special seasons where His only command is, "Seek My Face." He has something precious and vitally important to give us that the familiar pattern of our daily devotions cannot accommodate. During such times, people are often delivered of sins that have plagued them for years; others discover a depth in their walk with God that leads to greater effectiveness in ministry and prayer. Still, others experience breakthroughs in their families and are used by God to see loved ones brought into the kingdom.

I am my beloveds

I want to share a short but very significant experience I had with the Lord about a year ago. About this time last year, I was diagnosed with colon cancer. When I heard this diagnosis and was faced with my limited options, I so wanted to be healed supernaturally!
Now, I've known times of divine healing, like when I was healed from barrenness in 1982 (we now have four children!). I've also known amazing times of angelic visitation, like the weeks in the fall of 1992. I know this stuff does happen--and can happen-–to me!I want to share a short but very significant experience I had with the Lord about a year ago. All you need is love
