Responding brings blessing

I had been speaking recently to someone I hadn’t spoken to for 20 years. It was enjoyable catching up. We talked via Skype for an hour or more and then we both needed to go, other tasks called.
Some time later (I don’t exactly recall how much time lapsed), the Lord spoke to me and asked me to call him again and tell him a dream was coming his way in a few days and whilst it would be weird, it was a God inspired dream.
In looking back now I wonder why I hesitated at all, however, after a short time I decided to advise him. He accepted it, but said nothing until this last weekend, when he contacted me via Skype and said he had had the dream, indeed a few days after I had advised him! He said he was glad I’d advised him otherwise he would have dismissed it as a type of dream you sometimes have from too eating too much Pizza the evening before!
As it was, he and his wife prayed into it and gained some understanding of the interpretation of the dream and it encouraged them.
I suppose we learn from such things that we can choose to act on a Word from the Lord, or, ignore it. Responding, acting on what you see the Father doing brings blessing.
Perhaps the couple would have had someone else call and give them the Word from the Lord if I had not, perhaps not.
I’d rather not dwell on that, the point is that I did respond on this occasion and just as Jesus did what He saw the Father doing, I did respond and act on what I saw the Father doing. Yae!! and may that continue!
